Panic Attack Sleep Solution
Cure Panic Attacks with a 2 Step Sleep
Solution
By Alex Taylor
After suffering with many forms of panic and anxiety disorder for over 17 years, and after actually
beating them and getting my life back, I've come to this conclusion: the only way to cure panic attacks is to focus
all your attention on the handful of key areas of your life that cause or contribute to your anxiety.
One of the key areas is sleep.
If you've had severe panic and anxiety for some time, then you know that how good or bad you're doing at any
given time has an undeniable link to how well you're sleeping.
When you're anxiety is higher than it is normally, you'll almost certainly be getting less sleep. You'll also be
getting less restful sleep. And if you're like the majority of people with anxiety, you'll notice that you're
having far more nightmares than you do when your anxiety is under control.
When you're having low-quality sleep like this, you're spending less of your sleeping time in the stages of
sleep that relax you and that allow your body to recuperate and repair itself. This is deadly when your aim is to
cure panic attacks.
This creates a vicious circle where your anxiety is causing sleep problems, and your sleep problems are causing
anxiety.
The most beneficial thing I've found you can do when you're faced with this situation is this: do nothing that
taxes your body or your mind for an hour before sleep, and listen to relaxation sounds for at least 5 minutes while
you're lying in bed. Doing these 2 things each night guarantees you the best chance of drifting off into a restful
sleep, free from disturbance and nightmares.
When you want to cure panic attacks, you have to get the basics right, so get your sleep in order and see the
difference it can make to your life.
